Latest Test and Measurement NewsCorelis enhances I2C Exerciser19 November 2012 – Corelis, a supplier of boundary-scan test and measurement tools, has released a new version of its I2C Exerciser software, Version 1.23. The software improves the capabilities of Corelis’ powerful BusPro-I and CAS-1000-I2C/E bus analyzer products. The I2C Exerciser software allows users to generate I2C traffic, non-intrusively listen to and record all I2C bus traffic, and display real-time data in both state and waveform timing windows — all concurrently using a single instrument. Advanced software capabilities include master and slave emulation, a scripting language to control test sequences, and signal parametric measurements. Major enhancements and features incorporated in this release include:
“Not only is the CAS-1000-I2C/E the most capable and feature rich bus analyzer in its class, but its versatility and ease-of-use is completely unrivaled,” states Ryan Jones, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Corelis. “The I2C Exerciser graphical application and application programming interface continue to evolve to fulfill new applications in all phases of a product lifecycle including development, prototype validation, troubleshooting, system integration, production, and field testing. The same rich application software is also compatible with the low cost BusPro-I analyzer for basic capabilities including I2C monitoring, debugging, and programming.” The new software upgrade is available free to registered owners of the Corelis BusPro-I and CAS-1000-I2C/E products. A trial version of the software is also available to new users by registering on the Corelis website: www.corelis.comRelated Articles: |
