Anritsu announces Approval of new LTE Conformance Test Cases

22 November 2012 - Anritsu announced that in the area of RF and RRM testing 21 new test cases and for Protocol 221 new test case were approved. These key industry tests are becoming highly relevant to support the global deployment of LTE networks and devices, particularly as many leading Smartphones are now LTE capable and are being promoted in leading networks.

The GCF certification scheme is helping the industry to ensure a high quality of devices across the industry, to provide the best possible LTE user experience for the subscribers.

The ME7873L RF Conformance Test System and the ME7834L Protocol Conformance Test System form two key parts of Anritsu’s comprehensive LTE testing portfolio, covering the entire LTE ecosystem from initial design through manufacturing to deployment and maintenance. The submission of new test cases at these industry forums allows the Test equipment vendors to extend the coverage of the certification schemes and support deployment of new device capabilities.
