USB-based Protocol and Logic Analyzer

22 February 2016 - Acute launched the TravelBus, a 2-in-1 combination of protocol analyzer and logic analyzer. The instrument offers 16 data channels, 1 clock and 2 I2C channels with 200MHz sample rate and is connected via a USB 3.0 to a Windows PC or notebook. The basic model TB1016E supports 10 different protocols such as I2C, I2S, LIN, RS232, SPI and USB1.1.

The model TB1016B adds bus analysis for CAN, Modbus , Profibus RS422 and RS485 as well as differential channels. The model TB1016B+ supports also BiSS-C and PWM. The protocol analyzer includes built-in data filters to search and observe the captured data. Models TB1016B and TB1016B+ are able to stack the Acute TravelScope DSO to form as an MSO to see both digital and analog waveforms on the same phase to identify if it is a software or hardware problem.

Price starts at only US$260 for the basic model (TB1016E).
