Robust Docking Frame with high Tolerance Compensation

25 February 2022 - ODU offers the ODU-MAC Silver-Line with modular connectors for docking systems. These products are available as robust frame variants with tolerance compensation. They thus ensure a durable connection for at least 100,000 mating cycles. Including the new P4+ frame, there are now eight frame types to choose from in the ODU-MAC Silver-Line. They are available in custom lengths and with a choice of modules as required. Compensation for angular misalignments is ensured via centering with solid guiding pins and conical sockets.

Use cases for the P4+ frame include docking applications in both industry and test and measurement engineering, as well as end-of-line testing and mechanical engineering. ODU-MAC Silver-Line frames have also proven their durability and robustness in military vehicles, for example.

The P4+ frame at a glance:

•   Tolerance compensation: axial 1.0 mm / radial +/- 4 mm
•   Mounted floating on both sides
•   Min. 100,000 mating cycles
•   Optionally with grounding up to 10 mm²
•   No minimum order quantity
