New Instrument Drivers for EMC Test Software

ETS Tile04 April 2022 – ETS-Lindgren announced immediate availability of new TILE! drivers to support SIGLENT’s spectrum analyzers and signal generators. These drivers expand the use of TILE!, ETS Lindgren’s Total Integrated Lab Environment Software for performing automated EMC tests in corporate, commercial, and government test laboratories. TILE! is a dynamic tool that continuously evolves to meet users’ needs. With no brand preference on EMC test instrumentation, TILE! easily accommodates customer requests to add new drivers to their instrumentation suites. Customers in the TILE! maintenance program can utilize these new drivers immediately as a member benefit.

“SIGLENT is dedicated to building high-value test tools for RF and EMC applications,” said Jason Chonko, Marketing and Applications Specialist with SIGLENT. “Our spectrum analyzers and signal generators have become industry staples for RF product development, signal analysis, pre-compliance, and immunity applications. With this recent inclusion into the TILE! ecosystem, SIGLENT customers now have even more options when it comes to qualifying their products.”

The following SIGLENT spectrum analyzers are now supported by TILE!

  • SSA3000X Series
  • SSA3000X-Plus Series
  • SSA3000X-R Series
  • SVA1000X Series

In addition, TILE! supports SIGLENT signal generators:

  • SSG3000X Series
  • SSG5000X Series

“We enjoyed working with SIGLENT to develop new TILE! drivers for their spectrum analyzers and signal generators,” said Michael Christopher, Director, Software Engineering with ETS-Lindgren. “Our goal with TILE! is to support a wide variety of existing and new instrumentation so users can benefit from the convenience of having one software solution for their test requirements. We currently accommodate over 2,000 drivers and are happy to add a few more!”

Mr. Chonko enthused, “With the newly released TILE driver support for the SIGLENT spectrum analyzers and signal generators, our customers can quickly perform pre-compliance conducted, radiated, and immunity testing from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz. We gave ETS-Lindgren a ‘wish list’ and they delivered! It was truly a pleasure working with Michael and his team to develop the drivers for our instrumentation.”
