New Partnership with LR Tech

27. August 2024 - SphereOptics announced that it will represent LR Tech in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH-region) and in Eastern Europe. LR Tech, headquartered in Lévis, Québec, designs and manufactures FT-IR based spectroradiometer solutions tailored to the environmental, meteorological, defence and aerospace markets. The instruments are used in a wide range of remote sensing applications ranging from atmospheric temperature and humidity sounding to infrared signature measurements.

LR Tech is well-known for its solutions that exceed the usual standards. The instruments utilize robust, field-proven hardware to ensure optimal performance in challenging, harsh environments. The devices are autonomous and can be fully remotely controlled for continuous, unattended operation.

SphereOptics offers specialized measuring equipment for a multitude of areas in photonics, light metrology, spectral imaging and remote sensing. Adding LR Tech’s FT-IR spectroradiometer solutions will ideally expand the product range in the midwave, longwave and far infrared (IR) spectral range, offering distinct propositions to meet key detection requirements in atmospheric and remote sensing applications.

The products include LR Tech’s newly developed fast scanning VSR instrument (Versatile FT-IR Spectradiometer), the ASSIST-II FT-IR atmospheric sounder, and the blackbody series of high and low temperature blackbody units.
