Latest Test and Measurement NewseSIM OTA Test Solution Verification for ERA-GLONASS24 August 2018 – Anritsu announced that along with eSIM test solution expert COMPRION, they have established an eSIM over-the-air (OTA) test environment using Anritsu’s Signalling Tester MD8475A and COMPRION eUICC Profile Manager. The verification of the test environment was done at the Certification Center Svyaz-sertificat, one of the representative certification bodies in Russia that provides full certification services. Battery Capacity Analyzer for sealed Lead Acid Batteries23 August 2018 - B&K Precision announced the next evolution of the 600 series, with the new 603B. The 603B handheld battery capacity analyzer tests 6 and 12 volt sealed lead acid batteries with capacities up to 100 ampere hour (Ah). Test results include voltage, state of charge, and internal resistance. Reproducible Disturbances of CAN (FD) Networks21 August 2018 - The VH6501 hardware of Vector allows test engineers and developers to produce a wide variety of digital and analog disturbances precisely and reproducibly in CAN (FD) networks. It is thus ideally suited to automatically test the error handling of ECUs. Such tests are an essential part of indispensable conformity tests in the automotive industry. Self-Programming 3D Inspection Software for SPI and AOI20 August 2018 - Saki Corporation introduced Saki Self-Programming Software, the first self-programming software for solder paste inspection (SPI) and automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment. Saki Self-Programming (SSP) software, installed on Saki's 3D SPI and 3D AOI systems, makes programming fast, easy, and doesn't require any special programming skill or training. Only the Gerber and centroid CAD data is needed. The software does the rest. Attach USB Test Devices and Equipment directly to a PXIe Chassis17 August 2018 – Pickering Interfaces announces the addition of a PXIe version of their USB 2.0 Hub module — offering the same capabilities as their popular PXI USB 2.0 Hub (model 40-738). The module can be used to connect a USB device under test or USB test equipment to the test system without reliance on the controller’s USB ports, eliminating the need for freestanding powered hubs in a test system. Tri-Temperature Test of LED Devices in Volume Production16 August 2018 - The Xcerra MT9510 XP pick-and-place handler successfully passed the onsite buy-off for an automotive LED test application at a leading lighting manufacturer. The MT9510 XP solution enables the customer to test high volumes of LED devices with best temperature performance. Keysight Technologies acquired Thales Calibration Services15 August 2018 - Keysight Technologies acquired Thales Calibration Services in Melbourne Australia, a subsidiary of Thales Group, effective July 2, 2018.
