Latest Test and Measurement NewsAnritsu partners with Trescal in The Netherlands02 March 2018 - Anritsu announced that their partnership with Trescal has been expanded to cover The Netherlands. Trescal will now be providing calibration and repair services for Anritsu Handheld RF products including the Site Master range of handheld Cable and Antenna Analysers, and the Master series of handheld Vector Network and Spectrum Analysers. Compact 6 GHz USB RF Vector Spectrum Analyzer02 March 2018 - Saelig Company announced the availability of the Triarchy Techologies VSA6G2A Vector Spectrum Analyzer - an economical USB RF tool that plugs into the USB port of a PC. It offers almost all of the functionality of a benchtop spectrum analyzer. Its frequency range of operation is from 100Hz to 6.2GHz, with an amplitude measurement range of -140dBm to 24dBm. The RBW (resolution bandwidth) range is from 0.2Hz to 10MHz and the noise level (DANL) is as low as -140dBm. Parametric Test Solution with “TRUE” Per-Pin Architecture01 March 2018 – Keysight Technologies announced the third generation of its P9000 series massively parallel parametric test system. The system accelerates the fast ramp of new technology and reduces the cost-of-test in the development and manufacturing of advanced semiconductor logic and memory ICs. For example, with the new types of device structure and higher performance, the required amount of parametric test data per advanced technology node (less than or equal to 20 nm) is drastically increasing. Current Clamps for Multimeters28 February 2018 - Chauvin Arnoux expanded its offering with 2 new current clamps in the MINI100 Series. These small, compact clamps are ideal for measuring AC currents in low-power tertiary or industrial applications. Small and compact, the MINI 102 current clamp is an ideal complement for any multimeter to measure alternating currents in low-power tertiary or industrial applications. Ethernet Live Monitor optimizes Error Analysis in Real Time27 February 2018 – RUETZ SYSTEM SOLUTIONS presented the new Ethernet Live Monitor (ELM) for intelligent and efficient error analysis of data transports in automotive networks. The Live Monitor can easily be integrated in existing test systems or test vehicles for in-system diagnosis of AVB/TSN. JTAG DFT Assistant for Zuken PCB Design Suite26 February 2018 – Zuken and XJTAG have released a plugin that will enhance Zuken’s CR-8000 with a design for test (DFT) capability improving test coverage by allowing additional design checks during schematic entry. The capability is based on XJTAG’s DFT Assistant and will be released as a free plugin for Zuken’s CR-8000 Design Gateway users at Embedded World 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany. Vector Signal Generator for extremely high Pulse Rates23 February 2018 - Rohde & Schwarz introduced a new realtime control interface software option for simulated radar scenarios based on pulse descriptor word (PDW) streaming. The radar scenario simulator streams the PDWs to the R&S SMW200A vector signal generator directly via LAN. Equipped with the new software option, the vector signal generator processes these signals to simulate highly agile and dense radar signal environments. More Articles ...
