New 75 Ohm Calibration Kit07 August 2014 - Rosenberger introduced a high performance 75 Ohm calibration kit for applications up to 12 GHz. The calibration kit contains RPC-N open, short and broadband loads for measurements in N 75 Ohm applications. Additionally, high quality RPC-N 75 Ohm to BNC 75 Ohm adaptors enable measurements in BNC 75 Ohm applications: calibrate in RPC-N 75 Ohm series, connect the adaptor and measure in BNC 75 Ohm series.
Arbitrary/Function Generators for Signals up to 30 MHz04 August 2014 - The new Yokogawa FG400 Series is a range of arbitrary/function generators that combine intuitive operation with comprehensive sweep and modulation facilities. The instruments allow the creation of basic, application specific and arbitrary waveforms, and feature isolated output channels which allows their use in the development of floating circuits in power electronics applications.
Keysight Technologies begins Operations04 August 2014 – The electronic measurement business of Agilent Technologies has begun operating under the Keysight name. It will remain a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilent Technologies until early November when the separation is expected to be completed and Keysight begins trading on the NYSE under the symbol KEYS.
Yokogawa enhanced Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes01 August 2014 - Yokogawa enhanced its DLM2000 mixed-signal oscilloscope with longer memory capabilities and a number of firmware improvements. In the new version, the length of the acquisition memory has been increased up to 62.5 Mpoints in the standard unit and up to 250 Mpoints with the extended memory option. This means that, with the maximum memory installed (/M3 option), in single-shot mode, a 10 kHz signal lasting for more than one hour can be captured.
Dual Channel Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators31 July 2014 - B&K Precision launched its new 4060 Series line of dual channel function/arbitrary waveform generators. The series includes three models that generate sine waveforms up to 80 MHz (4063), 120 MHz (4064), and 160 MHz (4065). Featuring an advanced pulse generator and high-performance 512k-point arbitrary waveform generator on one channel, these instruments are ideal for use in applications requiring high signal fidelity with extensive modulation and arbitrary waveform capabilities at a value price point.
MIPI M-PHY v3.0 Interface S-Parameter and Impedance Testing29 July 2014 – Agilent announced the availability of its Method of Implementation (MOI) document for the transmitter/receiver (Tx/Rx) interface S-parameter and impedance tests defined in version 3.0 of the MIPI Alliance Specification for M-PHY. The MOI, and a test package such as a state file, which makes setup and measurement easy, works with the ENA Series network analyzer’s enhanced time domain analysis option (E5071C-TDR). PCI Precision Programmable Resistor Solutions28 July 2014 – Pickering Interfaces expanded its range of PCI precision programmable resistor solutions with two new PCI cards. The new PCI RTD Simulator Cards support the emulation of resistive temperature sensors and the PCI Strain Gauge Simulator Cards offer six bridge channels to simulate strain gauges. All cards are available in different configurations. More Articles ...
