News - General T&MNI opened Wireless Innovation Lab for 5G Research19 June 2015 – NI (National Instruments) announced the opening of the new Wireless Innovation Lab at its Austin headquarters. In the lab, NI supports ongoing collaborations with top academic and industry research groups participating in its RF/Communications Lead User program. Researchers at Intel, Lund University, Nokia Networks, NYU Wireless, Samsung, The University of Texas at Austin and TU Dresden are driving significant advances in the development of next-generation wireless systems and furthering research in 5G. Keysight Technologies Extends Duration of Instrument Service, Warranties for New and Out-of-Production Models17 June 2015 – Keysight Technologies announced that it has extended the available service period beyond the industry standard for many of its popular instruments that are no longer in production. The new Extended Service Period (ESP) program addresses a frequent request from customers who need to keep crucial test equipment operating over the life of multi-decade programs. In addition, Keysight is now offering multi-year Warranty Assurance plans that enable end users to lock in peak instrument performance for up to 10 years. FFT Analyzer for low Frequency electromagnetic Fields17 June 2015 – Narda Safety Test Solutions has launched a new FFT analyzer for low frequency electromagnetic fields. The EHP-50F measures and analyzes electric and magnetic field strengths in the frequency range 1 Hz to 400 kHz and evaluates the results in accordance with current human safety standards. Current Transducer to measure DC, AC or pulsed current from 60A up to 600A11 June 2015 - LEM extends its range of high-accuracy current transducers, announcing the new series of IT xx5 transducers for non-intrusive and isolated nominal measurements of DC, AC and pulsed currents from 60 A to 600 A. The range includes 4 new models: IT 65-S, IT 205-S, IT 405-S and IT 605-S. 32–Channel, High-Speed AXIe Digitizer with 1 GS/s Sample Rate09 June 2015 – Keysight Technologies introduced the M9709A 8-bit high-speed digitizer, providing 32 synchronous channels of 1 GS/s sampling in a single module. The M9709A is a single-slot AXIe module, with 32 channels at 1 GS/s sampling rate and 16 channels at 2 GS/s when interleaved. The module can provide more than 500 MHz analog bandwidth. The digitizer also enables long acquisitions with its very large on-board memory of up to 16 GB. Battery Quality Analysis Solution08 June 2015 - Aspen Electronics launched the WENS 900 Series Analyser and data logger for UPS Battery field Management. The unit provides a single, quick, test to show the health of the battery at variable loading conditionings for Impedance, Voltage, Temperature and Current measurements (simultaneously or independently) with user-friendly software. Programmable Triple Output DC Power Supplies05 June 2015 - B&K Precision introduced its latest programmable triple output DC power supplies, the 9130B Series. The new linear triple output power supply line offers three isolated outputs that can be adjusted independently or combined in series or parallel to output higher voltage or current. All models in the 9130B Series feature high programming and readback resolution of 1 mV, 1 mA with low noise and excellent load regulation. More Articles ...
