News - Other T&MCable Tester supports 4-Wire Precision Resistance Measurement15 January 2019 - CAMI Research, manufacturer of automation-ready cable and harness test systems, announced the CB53 connector motherboard that will convert a top-mounted standard 64-pin connector board test fixture into a 4-wire test fixture. Conversion is valid when the UUT connects directly into the standard board rather than via a flying lead or adapter cable and eliminates the need to otherwise create custom 4-Wire test fixtures. WEETECH expands its sales network in Europe27 August 2018 - WEETECH, a manufacturer of cable and functional testers, and the Spanish engineering company EIIT announce their cooperation. The complete portfolio of WEETECH GmbH - test systems for cable, insulation and functional tests with low and high voltage - are distributed by EIIT on the Spanish market since summer. EIIT engineers will also integrate WEETECH test systems into their own systems, like test benches or production lines. Checking Twist Pair Relationships in short Cables13 July 2018 - CAMI Research developed a new function for its CableEye cable and harness test system for checking and measuring twist pair relationships in cables as short as six feet. This feature is now standard in the model M4 low voltage continuity tester, and available as an option for HiPot (HVX-series) testers. The same circuitry allows for measuring cable length, length to break, capacitance, and resistance with precision (4-wire). Test System for e-mobility high Voltage Components16 March 2018 - The compact W 484 Test System completes the portfolio of WEETECH GmbH in the high voltage tester sector. It has been specifically designed for high voltage cable harnesses and components of the rapidly growing e-mobility industry and meets the requirements of LV 123, a multi-company standard for testing high voltage cable harnesses and components for electric or hybrid vehicles. 64-Pin Header Isolator for Cable Tester20 February 2018 - CAMI Research released a new 64-pin Header Isolator for its CableEye automation-ready, cable and wire harness test systems. Recommended when there is a need for repeat connection and disconnection of test fixture cables, it allows users to minimize bent pins and wear of the headers on the main unit, expansion modules, and free-standing QuickMount housings. The device may be used with any CableEye model and is rated to 500 Vdc/ac. High-Voltage Connector Boards for Cable Test19 January 2018 - CAMI Research released a High-Voltage (HV)-rated QuickMount housing (CBH2) for its CableEye automation-ready, cable and wire harness testing systems. As a free-standing, quick-release board fixture, it allows users to connect CAMI’s test interface boards to the 64-pin headers of any expansion module - even at some distance. The housing may be used with any CableEye model and is rated to 2100 Vdc / 1500 Vac. USB Type-C Test Fixture for Cable Tester15 August 2017 - CAMI Research released a USB Type-C test interface board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. A daughter board populated with two USB-C female connectors allows users to continuity-check USB Type-C terminated cables using the CableEye tester while seeing the connectors-under-test rendered graphically. The CB26U fits all CableEye models. More Articles ... |
