05 November 2025 – Pickering Interfaces announced a major new addition to its extensive range of PXI FIU (fault insertion unit) switch modules: available in a compact single-slot form factor, models 40-205 (PXI) and 42-205 (PXIe) are part of the company’s two-wire serial interface fault insertion switching family. Based on MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) switches, the modules are designed to simulate common faults in high-speed communication protocols, supporting the latest evolution of MultiGBASE-T1 testing requirements.
21 October 2025 — Rohde & Schwarz expands its next-generation MXO oscilloscope portfolio with the compact four- and eight-channel MXO 3 series. The MXO 3 delivers fast and precise advanced MXO technology – previously available only in larger, higher-priced models – in an extremely compact form factor at a more affordable price point. This oscilloscope allows engineers to see more of their device under test’s signal than any other instrument in this class. All MXO 3 models come standard with up to 99 % real-time capture, which is up to 50 times better than competitors’ instruments, enabling users to instantly see more signal details and rare events.
20 October 2025 - Murata Manufacturing Co. enhances its support for customers in the EMEA region and globally with its advanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test laboratory in Nuremberg, Germany. This strategic expansion underscores Murata’s commitment to delivering unparalleled EMC solutions, particularly for the rapidly evolving automotive industry. The Nuremberg facility features a dedicated electromagnetic semi-anechoic chamber specifically designed for Automotive applications. Although it is not an internationally certified EMC test laboratory for commercial use, its primary function is to provide robust EMC noise suppression support directly to Murata’s customers by a wide range of noise filters and accumulated knowledge in decades.
14 October 2025 - The One Cable Automation principle combines power, signal, and data communication in a single connector, shifting the trend away from control cabinet-based automation toward a decentralized model. Sensors and actuators are controlled directly in the devices themselves, which are connected and integrated into the system using hybrid cables and connectors. This approach is space-saving, neat, and easy to maintain. Download fact sheet.
