06 February 2026 - Keysight Technologies announced the release of its new Wireless Coexistence Test Solution, an automated, and standards-aligned platform designed to help engineers quickly and repeatably validate wireless device performance in increasingly crowded RF environments. As wireless devices proliferate across healthcare, consumer, and industrial applications, engineers face growing pressure to demonstrate reliable operation in the presence of interference — both to meet regulatory expectations and to ensure real-world performance. Keysight’s new solution addresses this challenge by automating wireless coexistence testing, reducing manual setup, improving repeatability, and enabling earlier risk identification during development.
05 February 2026 – ANRITSU announces that its Hybrid eCall evaluation solution, featuring the eCall Tester MX703330E, has obtained industry-first European EN 18052:2025 certification following testing by cetecom advanced, a leader in electronic equipment certification. The certification confirms reliable end‑to‑end validation of Hybrid eCall systems operating across 2G and 3G circuit-switched and 4G packet-switched networks. This certification enables automotive manufacturers and suppliers to more efficiently validate Hybrid eCall systems in line with European regulatory requirements, supporting robust emergency call performance across mixed network environments.
04 February 2026 - Since the European EV charger market began developing in earnest, various charging protocols have coexisted, resulting in interoperability issues that affect charging convenience. For instance, the widely adopted CCS interface uses both the DIN (SPEC) 70121 and the ISO 15118-2 protocols. However, while DIN 70121 holds the bulk of the market share, it supports DC charging only, lacking coverage of AC charging as well as advanced features like Plug & Charge. This holds back long-term progress for the charging ecosystem.
