16 January 2026 – With the new Model Option Electric Motor, Vector has added a powerful function to the CANoe test environment since Release 19. Control units for electric motors (MCUs) can now be tested directly out-of-the-box. The option includes preconfigured physical simulation models of electric motors – for early testing before real components are available. The Model Option provides ready-to-use physical simulation models for various motor types, such as permanent magnet synchronous motors, brushless DC motors, induction motors, and conventional DC motors. The simulation models close the control loop and thus deliver consistent and realistic input signals to the control unit under test.
07 January 2026 - Keysight Technologies announced the successful completion of an interoperability test for its UXM-based Next Generation eCall (NG eCall) solution with HEAD acoustics GmbH, a global leader in automotive acoustic testing. The interoperability between Keysight’s test platform and HEAD acoustics’ acoustic test setup enables automakers and system suppliers to confidently validate speech quality, network connectivity, and compliance with emerging NG eCall standards.

16 December, 2025 – XJTAG added the XJLink-PF20 controller to the XJLink-PF series. Following the success of the XJLink-PF40, released earlier this year, the XJLink-PF20 brings the same dependability and robustness to a new 4-TAP two-port configuration, offering both functional and JTAG boundary scan testing with the XJTAG testing suite’s long established power and control. This new configuration offers engineers even more choice across electronics development and production.
15 December 2025 – Vector Informatik is launching CANape 24, the latest version of its proven tool for precise measurement and calibration in modern vehicle architectures. Automotive engineers and developers benefit from enhanced functions for the efficient acquisition, analysis, and calibration of Zonal ECUs and high-performance computers (HPCs). CANape 24 now supports the new ASAM CMP protocol, broadening options for precise measurements. Communication remains compatible via established standards such as CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and Ethernet (xBASE-T1). The software tool also enables the calibration and visualization of complex ECU architectures, including dynamic SOME/IP data structures.
12 December 2025 — Kyocera and Rohde & Schwarz will showcase the characterization of Kyocera’s novel phased array antenna module (PAAM) at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, NV. The demonstration at the Kyocera booth (6501, LVCC, West Hall) will feature the R&S ATS1800M 5G NR multi-directional mmWave test chamber from Rohde & Schwarz, known for its exceptionally small footprint and over-the-air (OTA) testing capabilities.
