02 March 2026 – ANRITSU unveils a joint demonstration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. at Mobile World Congress 2026. The collaboration highlights advanced 7 GHz band device-validation capabilities designed to support the next phase of wireless innovation. Upper mid-band around the 7 GHz spectrum range provides a critical bridge between established midband 5G deployments and emerging 6G spectrum allocations identified at World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRC-23). This band offers an optimal balance of coverage, capacity, and implementation complexity, enabling applications such as enhanced Augmented Reality and Advanced Sensing technologies.
27 February 2026 - Rohde & Schwarz has expanded the capabilities of its CMX500 radio communication tester to cover all non-terrestrial network (NTN) technologies, making it a unique and comprehensive solution that empowers the entire ecosystem to confidently deploy reliable NTN services. Rohde & Schwarz will showcase the upgraded one-box tester at MWC Barcelona 2026. The CMX500 one-box signaling tester has evolved into a versatile, all-in-one platform for NTN testing, supporting NR-NTN, NB-NTN and Direct-to-Cell (D2C, DTC) technologies within a single unit. With the CMX500, users can now test all NTN technologies on both network and device level, without the need for multiple instruments, thus accelerating development and ensuring quality of new NTN services to be deployed with confidence.
20 February 2026 – IPTE expands the Multi-Functional Test Handler (MFT) family with the introduction of the new MFT 900, developed to meet the increasing market demand for testing larger PCB formats in automated production environments. As PCB dimensions continue to increase, manufacturers require flexible test handling solutions that combine extended board formats with high throughput and reliable contacting. The MFT 900 is specifically designed to support larger PCB sizes of up to 760 mm in length, while maintaining an optimized footprint.
10 February 2026 – ANRITSU and Valeo are collaborating to pioneer groundbreaking virtual validation capabilities essential for the evolution of the software-defined vehicles revolution. This partnership transforms software development for vehicle domains such as the telematics unit, enabling a more cost-efficient and future-ready process. Valeo and Anritsu will jointly unveil a live demonstration at MWC2026 in Barcelona (March 2-5, 2026).
