Product Focus: Oscilloscopes

In this topic section we have compiled some information on  "Oscilloscopes". Oscilloscopes are the most imporant tools in design, production and repair of electronics. Under the following tabs you will find, among other things, an overview of recently published news about oscilloscopes on All-about-Test, a market overview of products, suppliers, together with some relevant whitepapers and web links. The information presented here is being continually updated.

What is an "Oscilloscope"?

An oscilloscope is an electronic measurement system that allows observation of constantly varying signal voltages as a two-dimensional plot of one or more signals as a function of time. The observed waveform can be analyzed for such properties as amplitude, frequency, rise time, time interval, distortion and others ((Wikipedia).

Oscilloscopes are availabe in different form factors: benchtop, module (e.g. PXI, PXIe, PCI, VME, VXI), handheld, PC based (e.g. USB)

Analog Oscilloscope, Digital Oscilloscope, Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, DSO, MSO, Sampling Oscilloscope, CRO, USB Oscilloscope
