24 July 2019 - Hioki launched the Flying Probe Tester FA1816, an automatic testing system designed to inspect printed wiring on bare board. This horizontal, two-arm unpopulated board testing system is ideal for conducting shipping inspections of multi-model, small-lot, short-lead-time products. It uses Hioki’s capacitive testing method, which slashes testing times by making pass/fail judgments for unpopulated boards with a small number of test points.
13 February 2019 - Hioki launched the Flying Probe Tester FA1817, an automatic testing system designed to inspect printed wiring on bare boards. The FA1817’s features and capabilities make it ideal for use in inspecting high-density printed wiring boards.
16 July 2018 - atg Luther & Maelzer extended its range of Flying Probe test systems by launching a line for test areas of up to 40’’ width. The oversized systems complement the standard line which can load boards with sizes of up to 27’’ width. Special network technology and aerospace applications are driving the demand for high test coverage and 4-wire testing (Kelvin test) for large PCBs.

16 February 2016 - atg Luther & Maelzer has added a double sided flying probe system for substrate test to its line of flying probe testers. The S3-8 10 µm substrate tester is the latest model of a new atg Luther & Maelzer product line launched last year with the introduction of the single sided S3. The single sided S3 and the double sided S3-8 both meet the challenging requirements of high end substrate test such as positioning accuracy and high number of contact points by applying the advanced flying probe technology of atg Luther & Maelzer.
29 June 2015 - atg Luther & Maelzer releaseds the flying probe tester A8-16a, which combines the speed of the 16 probe system A8-16 with the automation of the A7a. The A8-16a addresses the test and productivity requirements of big or complex server boards or production panels up to 24.4” x 24.0” with huge test point numbers.
