Handheld Vector Network Analyzer

Siglent SHN900A2 29 May 2024 - Siglent introduced its new handheld vector network analyzer series SHN900A. It is available with a frequency as high as 26.5GHz. The Analyzer integrates vector network analysis, spectrum analysis, cable and antenna test and time domain analysis in one portable device. It is powered by Li-ion batteries, which allow an endurance of up to 4 hours. The main areas of applications are installation, maintenance and service of communication systems in the field as well as maintenance for production lines and field tests at automotive electronics.

Anritsu MS2089a 27 May 2024 – Anritsu launched the Site Master MS2085A Cable and Antenna Analyzer and the MS2089A with Integrated Spectrum Analyzer. These latest entries to the Anritsu lineup are designed to address the multifaceted demands of the general-purpose installation and maintenance market. They redefine industry standards for functionality, precision, and user-friendly operation, marking a transformative leap forward in field testing technology.

Pulse Generator Option for Handheld Analyzers

Keysight Fieldfox 21 May 2024 - Keysight Technologies expanded the software applications for its FieldFox portfolio of handheld radio frequency (RF) analyzers to include a pulse generator. Available for B- and C-Series FieldFox handheld analyzers, the downloadable Option 357 pulse generator offers field engineers a diverse array of pulse types at frequencies up to 54 GHz.

PV Analyzer and I-V Curve Tracer for tests up to 1500V

Fluke PVA1500 14 May 2024: - Fluke launched the new Fluke Solmetric PVA-1500HE2 PV Analyzer and I-V Curve Tracer. The announcement means that installation and maintenance engineers working on large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays and farms can now test up to 1500V and measure high efficiency (HE) strings up to 30A continuously. Also introduced is the Fluke Solmetric PVA-1500T2 PV Analyzer and I-V Curve Tracer, which can measure 3.5MW in under an hour and handle up to 30A for strings of modules < 19% efficiency and 10A for strings of high-efficiency modules with ≥ 19% efficiency.

Charging Station Analyzer

Fluke FEV350 Tester 02 May 2024 - Fluke launched its FEV350 EV Charging Station Analyser. Technicians involved in the functional testing and troubleshooting of Level 2 and Level 1 AC electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) can now carry out multiple tests without the need for several different tools with the latest EV charging test solution from Fluke. As a result, they will be able to maximise equipment uptime to levels previously unachievable.

High-voltage Insulation Resistance Testers

Fluke 1537 Insulation Tester 14 March 2024 - Fluke announced two portable and lightweight (1.3 kg) Insulation Resistance Testers for fast, accurate and reliable testing up to 2500 V (DC). The high-voltage 1535 and 1537 Insulation Resistance Testers are ideal for industrial electricians, maintenance technicians, electrical engineers and field service engineers looking to simplify frontline troubleshooting and improve productivity. Whether used on the factory floor or in the field at a solar PV installation, for maintenance work on such equipment as motors, transformers or power cabinets, the insulation testers deliver equally rapid and stable resistance measurements and enable users to cover greater workloads with a single tool.
