Bureau Veritas Group acquires 7Layers

07 January 2013 - The 7Layers Group announced that as of the beginning of 2013, its ownership has changed and that it now belongs to the Bureau Veritas Group. Bureau Veritas is a world leader in conformity assessment and certification services. Under the deal, 7Layers, a specialist in wireless electronic products testing, certification, engineering & test management solutions will bring years of experience, global coverage and an established position in the world of wireless communications into the Bureau Veritas Group.

7Layers regards this step as a strategic partnership that will benefit the whole 7Layers Group and all its partners. With the trend developing towards a smarter world and ubiquitous wireless connectivity, 7Layers needs to continuously revise and improve its services and its product lines. The effect of having a strong partner will be beneficial in meeting these challenges, and enable the 7Layers group to continue to satisfy the growing expectations of its international clientele.
