Latest Test and Measurement News54-Channel High-Speed Recorder with simultaneous Measurement Capabilities11 October 2012 - HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION announced the MEMORY HiCORDERs MR8740 and MR8741 and the DVM (Digital Voltmeter) Unit MR8990. The new MR8740 and MR8741 meet increasing demands for multichannel measurement in the performance testing of electric vehicle inverters, motors, and batteries. Used in combination with the dedicated MR8990 DVM Unit, the MR8740 can measure up to 54 channels of DC voltage signals at high levels of precision and resolution. Galileo Testing with GNSS Signal Creation Software11 October 2012 – Agilent Technologies announced that its Signal Studio for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) software (N7609B) has been enhanced with real-time and basic mode capabilities designed to allow engineers to simulate Galileo signals for receiver testing and to address the needs of the manufacturing test market. IC Tester Modules containing Digital, Power, and PMU Resources10 October 2012 - OpenATE announced two self-contained IC tester modules, each containing Digital, Power, and PMU resources. The new PE16A provides 16 programmable input or output channels, along with 2 PMU and 2 DPS resources. The new PEMU32 is a combo module with a high voltage PMU, a DPS, and a dynamic digital pin electronic card. Economical Dual- and Triple-Channel programmable Power Supplies09 October 2012 – Keithley Instruments announced the addition of two multi-channel power supplies to the company’s Series 2200 line of programmable DC power supplies. Both combine the advantage of greater output accuracy than offerings from the market leader at prices that are substantially lower, as well as features that enhance ease of use in circuit design, university student labs, materials research, and device testing that requires the use of more than one power source. Handheld Digital Multimeter designed for extreme Winter Weather09 October 2012 – Agilent Technologies announced the U1273AX OLED handheld digital multimeter, which can operate in temperatures as low as -40 C. Even in such frigid conditions, the new handheld DMM provides accurate results with no warm-up time required. Although the Agilent U1273AX excels in the wintertime, it remains useful throughout the year with an operating temperature range that extends up to 55 C. 250 MS/s PXI Arbitrary Waveform Function Generator08 October 2012 – Geotest introduced the GX1120, a two channel, PXI instrument that features both arbitrary waveform and direct digital synthesis (DDS) modes of operation - providing outstanding flexibility for generating custom or periodic waveforms. The GX1120 features 16 - bit amplitude resolution, a sample rate of 250 MS/s, and 32 M samples of waveform memory, providing the flexibility to create complex and accurate waveforms. Tektronix expands Mixed Domain Oscilloscope Series with Entry Level Models08 October 2012 - Tektronix announced expanded its revolutionary MDO4000 Series of Mixed Domain Oscilloscopes with two new entry level models. With the same features and functionality of the 12-time award-winning MDO4000, the new models put breakthrough time and frequency domain analysis in the hands of engineers at a more affordable price level.
