LTX-Credence launches Tester for next Generation Low Cost RF Devices02 May 2014 - LTX-Credence Corporation announced the second generation X-Series PAx test system, the PAx-ac. The PAx-ac is specifically designed to deliver the lowest cost of test for high performance, high volume manufacturing of RF front end mobility devices designed for the 802.11ac 160MHz and LTE Advanced modulation standards.
Software Defined Radio Platforms with two RF transceivers covering DC–6 GHz02 May 2014 - Ettus Research, a National Instruments company, introduced the USRP X300 and USRP X310 high-performance, modular software defined radio (SDR) platforms. Both platforms combine two RF transceivers covering DC–6 GHz with up to 120 MHz bandwidth and a large user-programmable Kintex-7 FPGA. The USRP X300 and USRP X310 both feature multiple high-speed interface options, including PCI Express, dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet and dual 1 Gigabit Ethernet and is available in in a convenient desktop or rack-mountable half-wide 1U form factor.
MEMS Microphone Test Handler30 April 2014 - Multitest shipped the first MEMS Microphone Test Module that achieves a unique 65dbA signal to noise ratio over the whole frequency range of 20 Hz up to 20 kHz and sound pressure levels of > 130 dB. The total harmonic distortion at 1 kHz, 120 db is less than 1%. Depending on device size the sound pressure level is linear in a range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Agilent introduces two new portable Oscilloscope Families29 April 2014 - Agilent Technologies introduced two new high-performance portable oscilloscope series deploying next-generation oscilloscope technology. The Infiniium S‐Series sets a new standard for signal integrity for bandwidths up to 8 GHz, while the InfiniiVision 6000 X-Series sets a new standard for price/performance with bandwidths up to 6 GHz.
