Latest Test and Measurement NewsFull Automatic Testing for IEEE802.11ax Devices21 March 2018 – Anritsu Corporation announced the three new software packages to expand the measurement standards supported by the Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A, enabling fast and fully automatic testing in accordance with the IEEE 802.11ax test specifications. The new packages are the WLAN 802.11ax Tx Measurement MX887033A and WLAN 802.11ax Waveform Files MV887033A for evaluating IEEE 802.11ax devices, along with a Full Automatic Measurement Program. Oscilloscope Probes for Power Electronics Measurements20 March 2018 - Rohde & Schwarz broadened its portfolio of oscilloscope probes for power measurement with six new high voltage differential probe models and a 4 GHz power rail probe. The new R&S RT-ZHD high voltage differential probes are designed for complex measurements on power electronics with voltages up to 6000 V. Whereas the new R&S RT-ZPR40 with 4 GHz bandwidth enables scope users to find EMI issues on power rails that they were previously unable to isolate. Stress Module for Automotive Ethernet Applications19 March 2018 - With basicCON 4045, GOEPEL electronic presents a stress module specifically for automotive Ethernet applications (BroadR-Reach). The simulation of physical faults manipulates the ECU communications, allowing conclusions to be drawn about the stability and robustness of Ethernet vehicle applications. Test System for e-mobility high Voltage Components16 March 2018 - The compact W 484 Test System completes the portfolio of WEETECH GmbH in the high voltage tester sector. It has been specifically designed for high voltage cable harnesses and components of the rapidly growing e-mobility industry and meets the requirements of LV 123, a multi-company standard for testing high voltage cable harnesses and components for electric or hybrid vehicles. Multi-device Synchronization for Lock-in Amplifiers and Arbitrary Wave Generators15 March 2018 - Zurich Instruments Lock-in Amplifiers and Arbitrary Wave Generators (AWG) can now be synchronized thanks to the new Multi-device Synchronization function (MDS). This allows multiple instruments to be connected together and controlled on one user-friendly interface. The MDS takes care of the synchronization of both the 10 MHz clock and the sampling rates of each connected instrument. Compact low-cost eight-in-one Oscilloscope14 March 2018 - Rohde & Schwarz launched the new R&S RTC1000 oscilloscope series. The compact oscilloscope can double as an eight-channel logic analyzer, a four-channel pattern generator and a protocol analyzer for I2C, SPI, UART/RS-232, CAN and LIN; and as a digital voltmeter, component tester, spectrum analyzer and counter. With this eight-in-one instrument integration, users get more value with a minimal footprint on bench space. Software Platform that integrates Simulation, Design, Test Workflows13 March 2018 – Keysight Technologies unveiled PathWave, the industry’s first software platform that integrates design, test, measurement and analysis. As a result, PathWave enables customers to accelerate innovation and product development from concept through manufacturing and deployment. PathWave is based on Keysight’s industry-leading, proven expertise to ensure consistency, accuracy and measurement integrity. More Articles ...
