Manchester and NRZ Configurable Protocol Decoders18 April 2013 - Teledyne LeCroy Corporation announced the industry's first Manchester and NRZ (non-return-to-zero) configurable protocol decoders for a wide range of oscilloscope platforms. The decoders enable users to specify a broad range of physical layer characteristics for Manchester- or NRZ-encoded signals. The decoders define the grouping of bits into words, and words into frames, which makes short work of analysis for custom and/or proprietary protocols based on those generic encoding schemes. I2C Bus Analyzer for Debugging and Performance Verification17 April 2013 – Blackhawk announced the release of a new I2C bus analyzer product, dubbed Blackhawk Scribe. The Scribe represents Blackhawk’s first product introduction outside of its core JTAG emulation-based products. Combining an easy-to-use rich feature set with an affordable price, Scribe is well suited for both entry-level and complex I2C applications alike. The Scribe is ideal for embedded software and firmware development, hardware debug, and system performance verification. Signal and Spectrum Analyzer with analog Baseband Inputs16 April 2013 — Rohde & Schwarz has upgraded its R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer with a new option to include analog baseband inputs covering a bandwidth of 80 MHz for I and Q signals. This makes it the only signal and spectrum analyzer on the market that can analyze signals with up to 160 MHz bandwidth in the baseband. Diagnosys presents high Power Variant of PinPoint Sigma16 April 2013 – Diagnosys extended the testing capabilities of the PinPoint Sigma and introduced an optional high power variant. Addressing the needs for programmable UUT (Unit Under Test) power supplies with high current capabilities, the PinPoint Sigma is now available as a high power option. With currents up to 28 Amps on the 3.3 Volt and 5 Volt power rails and 10 Amps on the 12 volt rails the PinPoint Sigma address high speed technology and large PCBs. Tektronix continues Expansion of Gold Care Service Plans15 April 2013 – Tektronix announced the continued expansion of its successful Gold Care Service Plans. This latest expansion allows current customers to apply Gold Care to a broader range of installed products and introduces the plan to Tektronix’ popular lines of probes and BERTScopes. Customers can now apply Gold Care to over 150 different Tektronix products.
